I'm no Avatar, Vegeta. That's a great responsibility that Aang and Korra are peculiarly qualified for. [ She's been doing some reading on the position in the library. ] I'm trying to learn to control this, like you. [ She lets the ball of water fall and it splashes on her hooves, and maybe also Vegeta's shoes. ] But my new powers seem to be the polar opposite of yours.

No, we're not. But sometimes friends aren't very alike. [ Annoying and aggressive as Vegeta is, she does still consider him a friend. ]

I know that because I've done some reading. The Avatar is the uniter of the four nations of their world, a bringer of peace to a situation almost defined by strife.

Friends? Right. Yeah, whatever. [Most people don't get past distant acquaintance with him. He's kind of a project in that department.

Though he does give her an eye. He's not so much interested in what the Avatar is rather than the fact that she read about it. That blasted library. He's never gone there.

What if...she reads about him? Is his story there too?]

And what else have you read about? Do you just go into that library and pry into everyone's lives then?

All kinds of things! I'm not always able to match worlds up to particular people, and some of them seem to be about worlds that aren't represented here. But Aang confirmed what I learned about the Avatar, so I know that part's right, at least!

I don't remember reading about you, though. Besides, a lot of the books are overviews, not personal stories.

So history books then. Ones that contain an overview of the worlds that people from here reside from. [He knows where he's going. Right to that library and burning the books about the Saiyans and the destruction of the planet. If there is one about that there.]

You know, why don't I join you sometime at the library. I'd like to get some reading in myself.

Oh, would you?! It's always great to have a new and eager reader. I can show you our philosophy and ethics section! There's a lot of vastly different moral codes depending on the world. [ Maybe she can temper that temper of his. ]

Is there anything in particular you're looking for? We have such a vast collection, I hardly know what to recommend to you first!

I've got a couple of ideas in mind. [Wow all that enthusiasm is almost more than he can stand.] There's a few history books I'd like to check out.

History, huh? I know a lot about that. We can start you off on some of the simpler worlds. Oh, I can give you a book on Equestria!

Did you happen to find any books on the Saiyans while you were combing through these books? [He figures he can straight up ask her about it. Why wouldn't he be interested in that anyway?]

I... don't actually remember. I've read a lot of books. [ They arrive at the library and Twilight gestures with a hoof. ] Are they a creature you'd like to familiarize yourself with?
